From it's southern end there are splendid views over the Gulf of Salerno, and to the east and west, the magnificent Amalfi Coast. The ancient port of Amalfi is just a few kilometres away with it's beaches, restaurants and shops. Off the main street of Amalfi there are many passages to explore which merge into a footpaths leading you up into the hills. If you have a car the beautiful coastal towns of Amalfi, Positano, Maori and Minori all have a vibrant nightlife. But most people opt for a long dinner at one of the town’s restaurants or pizzerias, followed by a ‘passeggiata’ (evening stroll) and ice cream or something a bit stronger! |
